"Hula is the language of the heart, therefore, the heartbeat of the hawaiian people"

ABOUT

At Hula ʻO Nuku ʻĀina — A Passage in the Land — students learn hula kahiko (ancient), hula ʻauana (modern), and dances from across Polynesia.

Founded in 2011 in Grants Pass by Kat Greene, our hālau has grown into a community where haumāna (students) of all ages come together to explore the music, dance, and traditional arts of Hawaiʻi and the Pacific.

Now led by Kumu Hula Jay Kaneholani-Morningstar, Hālau Hula ʻO Nuku ʻĀina continues to share the spirit of hula throughout the Rogue Valley — inspiring joy, fostering education, and celebrating cultural diversity.
